What you need to know about Stretching

No, really, what is Stretching?

Stretching is the foundational practice for flexibility, mobility, and injury prevention in aerial disciplines. It involves targeted exercises to elongate muscles and improve our range of motion.

About the apparatus

Your body is the apparatus! For stretching we always use a mat and on some occasions blocks or elastic bands.

So how does stretching help you?

Stretching enhances flexibility, improves muscle elasticity, and helps prevent injuries. It also promotes better posture and contributes to a more effective aerial practice.

Do I need to be strong or flexible to join a class?

No. Stretching exercises are essential for everyone, no matter the fitness level or background. It's an integral part of any aerial practice, supporting individuals in reaching their fitness goals.
